PRESS RELEASE
The Pepper Quest opens new taste studio and lab in Vasastan – a new meeting place for flavour.
After ten years of working closely with small-scale growers around the world, The Pepper Quest now opens its new lab and flavour studio at Atlasmuren 16 in Vasastan, Stockholm — a space where craftsmanship, quality and knowledge meet, created for both the restaurant industry and curious home cooks.
Since its founding in 2014, The Pepper Quest has built its reputation through personal, long-term collaborations with partner growers across Europe, Asia and Latin America.
With the opening of its new HQ and lab in Stockholm, the company takes the next step — creating a physical meeting place where professionals and the public can come together for tastings, product development, and access to some of the world’s most flavourful spices.
The Pepper Quest’s spices are used today by leading restaurants such as Frantzén, Mathias Dahlgren, Surfers and Aira, among others. Their close collaborations with chefs, product developers and food producers have made the company a trusted partner in high-end gastronomy.
Their carefully selected range is also available in several gourmet stores and has become a go-to flavour enhancer in kitchens across Sweden. The company is now looking beyond Scandinavia — towards the rest of Europe.
“We’ve built our expertise in close dialogue with chefs and partner growers — not from behind a desk. The new studio will be a space where we can continue to develop, experiment and share knowledge — from origin to plate. We want our customers to experience the same scent of green cardamom as from the Ashoka family in Sri Lanka, or the same taste of black pepper as from Lien’s farm in Vietnam.”

About The Pepper Quest
Founded in 2014, The Pepper Quest was born from a desire to redefine how we think about spices. By establishing new trade routes directly with small-scale growers, founders Elsa Crafoord and Adrian Coyet have placed quality, origin and respect for raw materials at the centre of their work.
After years of travel and relationships built around the pursuit of true flavour, the company now supplies single-origin spices and unique blends to restaurants, food producers and home cooks alike.
