Northern Thai Laab Spice Blend

We are so happy to share this spice mix with you. It is such a flavor bomb with 20 different ingredients that has been pounded by hand and roasted all according to a traditional family recipe in the northern part of Thailand. This mix is used in iconic dishes like Laab Muang Gai and laab dip Muang.

Ingredients: Smoked and roasted Bird's Eye Chillies, locally grown Long Pepper (deeplee), Thai Prickly Ash (makwaem), Peucedanum Dhana (maleap), Indian Bayleaf (Cinnamomum Tamala), Coriander seed, Dill seed, Cumin seed, Fennel seed, Sun-dried Sand Ginger, Galangal and Lemongrass and Black pepper. Nutmeg, Mace, Thai White Cardamom, Star Anise, Cassia and Rock salt. 

Pair with: Garlic, coriander, pak preo, sweet basil, lime, chicken, pork, mushroom, tofu, beef, Laab, Laab Muang Gai, marinades, stir-fries, minced meats, homemade sausages, hamburgers, slow-cooking, pattys.
